You can set more communications software characteristics. Choose the entries that best match your terminal and preferences.
<<< RESET TERMINAL CHARACTERISTICS >>> 1 Your terminal expands tabs. 2 Your terminal does not expand tabs. 3 No delay on RETURN 4 Short delay on RETURN 5 Long delay on RETURN 6 Set your delete character to "Delete" [^H] 7 Set your delete character to "Backspace" [^?] 8 Set interrupt character to "Control-C" DO THIS!
NOTE: You can NOT use "Delete" for both delete and interrupt functions.
REMEMBER TO SAVE ALL CHANGES TO MAKE THEM PERMANENT ! Do this by typing "save" (without the quote marks) at the Your Choice ===> prompt.
If you really know what you're doing, this section is for you. If you're not sure just leave these settings alone. You can set the way your communications software acts the best. It's recommended that you use VT100 (#2), if at all possible, as this seems to work the best.
